On March 13, 2026, our department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SRM University, one of India’s leading private comprehensive universities, to formalize guidelines for faculty and student exchanges. SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), a prominent private higher education system in India, comprises five campuses with a total enrollment exceeding 80,000 students and offers programs across diverse fields, including engineering, medicine, management, and bioengineering.
  Beginning in 2027, SRMIST will nominate 3–5 undergraduate students annually to participate in overseas internship programs within our department. Master’s and doctoral students will engage in off-site research through bilateral collaborative projects. The agreement also facilitates reciprocal faculty exchanges, with SRMIST providing full hospitality during visits.
  Further initiatives, including the development of advanced dual-degree programs, are currently underway to strengthen international academic collaboration and expand the scope of institutional partnership.
